Small Shopify sellers see revenue every day but almost never see profit -- the real number hides behind COGS, fees, shipping, ad spend, and returns scattered across a dozen exports. Skim was a Shopify app that connected to a store, mapped every cost to every order, and showed owners what they actually took home. An AI analyst, Ask Skim, then told them exactly what to do about it.

Real-time P&L engine
Mapped COGS, Shopify fees, payment processing, shipping, ad spend, discounts, and returns to every order for a true net-profit number.
Shopify OAuth + embedded app
One-click install via the Admin API with App Bridge for the embedded admin experience, plus webhook sync for orders and products.
Full analytics dashboard
Overview, P&L statement, profit leaks, orders, products, customers, discounts, a what-if simulator, and a daily digest -- all on live store data.
Ask Skim (AI)
An AI analyst that could see the store's numbers and answer questions like 'which product loses money after returns?'
Auth, billing & lifecycle
Supabase auth with magic links, Stripe subscriptions with webhook-driven entitlements, Resend transactional email, and a waitlist with referrals.
